This sounded like such a fun and interesting event! I heard there was a tremendous turnout. I’m glad it was successful, but I wimped out on going when I heard there was a possible hour long wait for food.
Totally understand about not wanting to wait in line. The good thing though is that the majority of the trucks that were a part of the festival are local. So if there was one that you just wanted to check out you can catch them in downtown Topeka or at the local farmer's market.
I was super crowded event so the only got to try Coffee Cake KC and Noble House. They were both worth standing in line for though. Since it was such a great turnout hopefully they will plan another one this fall or next summer. You can follow Noble House and X marks the Spot on Twitter and Facebook to checkout where they will be posted around town.
I had no idea Topeka was abound with food trucks. I hardly see any around town. I need this blog in my life so that I know where to get the best grub on the go.

DeleteFinally something fun and Trendy in T-town. I hope they make this more than just once a year, then maybe the waits won't be so long.
ReplyDeleteThis event was great for Topeka. Visit Topeka did awesome job organizing it too. The lines were crazy but the turnout took everyone by surprise.
ReplyDeleteWhich one was your favorite food truck? It seems like it did have a great turnout! Will another be happening soon?
